Claudia was born in Uruguay, a small country south in South America. In her childhood, Claudia and her family also lived in Canada, Paraguay and Argentina.  While growing up in the Patagonian region of Argentina, Claudia first began watching the native women spin their own sheep wool.   Over the years, she watched them transform their yarn into beautiful hand-woven products. This was that start of Claudia's love and interest for the art of hand-weaving.

Later in life she would learn their magical techniques of transforming yarn into beautiful pieces of art. Today, living in United States, Claudia's love for weaving still persist.  Her unique work is made possible by combining modern world designs with the techniques of the old world.
